iBurst and Goldtel provide a "farm living" estate with connectivity

MONAGHAN FARM, a living estate in the north of Johannesburg, is utilising a triple play solution from iBurst and Goldtel to give all 279 households voice, data and TV services.

The estate has a fibre infrastructure across the whole property, and while most of the houses are still to be built, every home will have voice, data and television services controlled by a data centre in the estate's administrative building. iBurst Business will deliver the connectivity and billing, while Goldtel will provide the hardware.

The last mile connectivity of the estate will be a MetroNet (microwave) link, and voice packages for residents start at R50 a month, and data packages from R300 a month.

Richard Bissett, CEO of Goldtel, says of the estate's infrastructure "It's imperative today to make provision for the internet."
