MXit expands into Mexico

SA-BORN mobile IM and social network MXit has expended into Mexico. The company reports that its global subscriber base has doubled in the past year, and now tops 17 million. Juan du Toit, international marketing manager for MXit, said: "We have targeted Mexico...as we felt the country was ready for an evolved and cost-effective mobile social network."
