Online submissions for planning body

THE PRESIDENCY has introduced online applications for its new National Planning Commission (NPC), to speed up the nomination process. Minister in the presidency Trevor Manuel explained that the presidency has opened nominations for 20 commissioners. Online applications would increase the number of nominations received and would also speed up the application process, Manuel added.

Nominations for the NPC, which is tasked with drafting a long-term vision and strategic plan for the country, will be open until 10 February.
