Dax Data unveils reseller programme

Jeremy MatthewsJeremy Matthews

Dax DATA has made the new Adobe Partner Connection Reseller Programme available across sub-Saharan Africa. The  programme rewards resellers for their sales and technical expertise, as well as their commitment and dedication to promoting Adobe technologies.

According to Dax Data MD Jeremy Matthews, the programme is designed to encourage active selling, promote interaction with Dax Data, manage the channel in new ways and elevate conversations about Adobe technologies with the end-user.

“In the past we have offered individual bonuses or incentives, but Dax Data is now presenting its resellers with the opportunity to participate in a highly-integrated and comprehensive programme that will reward resellers proportionally for their level of commitment in selling Adobe products,” says Matthews. A highlight of the programme is deal registration, which allows Adobe to compensate partners for pre-sales efforts. The partner that registers the deal gets the rebate – not necessarily the reseller who closes the sale. This additional incentive will turn most sales opportunities into a more profitable sales engagement that rewards resellers based on performance.

“Tools like deal registration make actively selling Adobe products more attractive and allow resellers to significantly increase their profitability,” says Matthews.

Resellers can engage with Dax Data and Adobe on three different levels, based on their membership. A basic membership allows one to access transactional licensing programmes and shrink-wrap programmes. Certified members will receive access to cumulative licensing programmes (CLP), deal registration, and specialisations, but require a minimum number of Adobe Certified Sales Professionals. Gold members can add revenue and other business commitments in exchange for an Adobe account manager and joint business and marketing planning.

“With the new channel programme, we have the optimal structure to work better and more closely with our partners,” says Adobe regional manager for Dax Data for sub-Saharan Africa,  Israel Grant.
