The new HP E5000 messaging solution brings HP’s Converged Infrastructure to the masses.

Craig Paul" />The HP E5000 MESSAGING SYSTEM for Exchange was jointly engineered by HP and  to address the issue of increasingly complex business messaging environments.

In line with HP’s Converged Infrastructure blueprint, the homogeneous solution removes excess  equipment that has sprawled across IT environments so that it can focus on innovation rather than operation. “How much is IT actually helping business if only around 30% of spend is allocated to  research and development or innovation?” asks Craig Paul , business development manager at HP’s  Storage-Works Division. “The paradigm needs to be shifted to provide at least 70% allocation for spend.”

HP and have jointly engineered the HP E5000 Messaging System for Exchange, which includes a seamless integration of hardware, software and management to provide much faster  deployment with lower total cost of ownership.

The solution is available in three pre-confi gured packages sized for customers requiring from 500 to 3  000 mailboxes and is scalable to larger user deployments through easy to deploy expansion units. “Built specifically for Exchange 2010, the HP E5000 is a turnkey solution that can be deployed, scaled and upgraded in hours as opposed to days, delivering best-in-class messaging platform for organisations of all sizes,” says Paul.

“This is only the first collaboration project between HP and ,” says Paul. “There are several  more coming in future.”
