When the long-anticipated undersea cables start connecting SA over the next few years, will we be prepared to make the most of them? If we don`t maximise the possibilities, we will be left behind, says a new SA National Broadband Forum, which was formed recently with the aim of pushing for a cohesive national strategy that makes broadband available to everyone. The forum held its first gathering in Johannesburg recently, where potential broadband players and thinkers discussed how SA can make the most of opportunities when better broadband comes.
