Altech has appointed Andy Baker as chief operating officer for the group. Baker will report directly to Craig Venter" rel=tag>Craig Venter, chief executive officer, and will be responsible for the operational delivery of the group companies.
New HP category manager
HP has appointed Nadia Hufkie as category manager of its Personal Systems Group (PSG), a business unit that manufactures and sells business and consumer PCs, mobile computing devices and workstations.
New head for TallyGenicom South Africa
Peter Vieira has been appointed as a director at TallyGenicom South Africa, replacing Dave Terry, who left the company on 31 January.
