Yolanda Smit, Business Intelligence Business Analyst (BIBA), PBT Group, Lynn Wilson, HR Business Analyst, The Foschini Group and Jacqui Cameron, Executive : HR Information Management The Foschini Group" />At ITWeb’s 5th annual Business Intelligence Summit, delegates enjoyed topical keynotes, informative case studies, and insightful presentations by more than twenty BI experts. Over 270 delegates attended the Summit, and visited the expo which ran alongside the event, at The Forum, Bryanston, from 28 February to 1 March.

The winners of the 2012 ITWeb Business Intelligence awards, which recognise best practice in BI implementation in South Africa, were announced as part of the Summit. The Foschini Group were presented with the Business Intelligence Excellence Award. The other finalist in this category was AccTech Systems. The Business Intelligence Innovation Award went to Santam. saidWot was the other finalist for this category.

Our congratulations to the winners and finalists for their outstanding BI Projects. The entries were judged by a panel consisting of Ranka Jovanovic, editorial director and founding member: ITWeb, Bill Hoggarth, independent consultant and Barry Devlin, founder and principal: 9sight Consulting.
