Lorna Hardie, HP

HP has appointed Lorna Hardie as the new HP software country manager for SA, with immediate effect.

In her new role, Hardie will work closely with the extended pre-sales, sales and respective software team. Her goal is to drive the South African software business forward, and provide customers with the best possible experience across products, sales, and support.

“Lorna has been with HP for 13 years and is still determined to bring in new ideas and innovations to the business. She is an invaluable asset to our team and I know she will help to drive future growth for HP Software in SA,” says Frank van Rees, MD of HP SA.

“Her extensive experience in enterprise business, networking, security and channel management makes her an excellent fit for this role.”

HP Software sells three categories of software: IT performance management, IT management software, and information management software. HP Software also provides consulting, software-as-a-service, cloud computing solutions, education and support services.

Hardie previously managed the imaging and printing division for English Africa, and channel for southern Africa. She also served as HP’s networking country manager for SA and as the global account executive responsible for Nedbank and MTN SA. Prior to her current role, Hardie served as enterprise security product sales manager for SA and Africa.
