Ivan Dittrich has been appointed CFO and executive director of Vodacom Group. Dittrich joins the group from Datatec, where he has been the CFO since May 2008, and executive director on the board of Datatec since March 2008. He holds a BCom Accounting Honours degree.

Rob Evans has been appointed CFO to , with effect from 1 June 2012. He will be nominated to the board and become CFO-designate from 1 March 2012. Evans worked for earlier in his career and rejoined the company in 2008, initially as an integration and transformation executive.

Hong Kong-based Lenovo is restructuring its business into four units, from two, at the same time as steps down after three years as GM for Africa. In a statement, the company said it would shift its focus to four new geographies: China, APAC/Latin America, North America, and EMEA. Ferreira will join the Group company as CEO of distribution next month.
